The Glendale Lyceum

Nestled in historic Glendale, Ohio, the Glendale Lyceum is a members only social and racquet club that opens its doors to non-members for corporate events, weddings and other private parties.

For members, the Lyceum provides engaging and inclusive activities, a wide variety of recreational programs, and a breadth of educational and dramatic arts opportunities, all conducted in our historic setting.

Members can attend Valentine’s Day Dinners, Super Bowl Tailgates, TGIF summer cookouts, Fall Fest, Holiday Caroling, and Dinner Club. We also host family picnics on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Staying true to its early roots as an organization devoted to the appreciation of literature and drama, the Lyceum continues to host a monthly Book Club, a Dinner of the Month series featuring notable speakers from across the region, and an annual performance or play.

Lyceum members also enjoy a Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, some of the area’s finest clay tennis courts, and lighted pickle ball and platform tennis courts. Whether you play to satisfy your competitive side or enjoy casual play, you’ll appreciate the variety of racquet clinics, leagues, and events throughout the year. Our racquet professional is available for group or individual lessons for both members and non-members, too.

The Lyceum has become a special place for kids of all ages to play, connect and enjoy the spirit of childhood. Our youngest members can often be found at summer day camp, tennis camp, swim lessons, pool parties, cookie decorating, art and drama programs, and our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with Santa.
