The Glendale Lyceum, founded in 1883, has a rich history of promoting higher education and fostering social connections amongst its members. Located in historic Glendale, our private, member-run social club offers a range of amenities, including an elegant main facility, multi-purpose building, large swimming pool and top-notch tennis, pickleball and paddle tennis courts.

At the heart of the Glendale Lyceum is its vibrant community. We strive to embody the spirit of Glendale, welcoming newcomers and bringing together families spanning multiple generations. Our club offers a variety of events and functions, catering to a diverse range of interests. From social gatherings to recreational activities, there’s always something happening at the Lyceum.

For the racquet enthusiast, our clay, platform tennis and pickleball courts offer a great way to stay active and competitive. We host a variety of tournaments and socials throughout the year, with professional coaching available for those looking to improve their game.

During the summer months, our swimming pool, baby pool, multi-purpose building and pavilion provide a fun and relaxing environment for families to enjoy. We work with Swimsafe to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all members, with swimming lessons available upon request.

For our youngest members, the Glendale Lyceum offers a range of social and educational events designed just for kids. From holiday-themed breakfasts to summer day camps and Easter Egg hunts, there’s always something fun happening for children at the Lyceum.
